NFL Network Secretly Hosted by Muppets!

As I sat and watched the NFL Network this past Sunday it was like I was seeing things for the very first time. I was in awe of who was actually hosting the shows. The broadcasters are not always the most interesting bunch but I suddenly realized they were vastly more intriguing than any other sports network. They were all Muppets!!! I have proof…

Deion Sanders –> Dr. Teeth
This one is plainly obvious. “Neon Deion” did not just slowly disappear become “Prime Time.” During the transition Sanders obviously was developing his Muppet-self as Dr. Teeth.

Solomon Wilcots –> Gonzo
“Wow, look at that schnauze,” was all I could think followed with “Holy shit, that’s fucking Gonzo!” I’ll let you decide but I think it’s nearly uncanny.

Sterling Sharpe –> Camilla the Chicken

Sterling, please don’t come kick my ass I’m just reporting. I won’t say anything other than that out of fear of my own safety.

Steve Mariucci –> Sweetums
How could I have not noticed this before? It’s all in the hair!

Fran Charles –> Fozzie Bear
The main link that started this all. When Fozzie Bear interviewed for this gig they must have said “Take off the hat” and Fran Charles was born.
