After-Draft; Surprisingly Good, Surprisingly Bad, and just Surprising

The 2009 Draft has wrapped up and there have already been draft grades assigned by some writers.  I’m not much of a grade guy and there should be some sort of easy to track database of what the analyists say about guy x and y and how they turn out.  So, this will be more based on what I know and what I think a team needed.  I’m not here to rip on kids right out of college (unless they do something ridiculously stupid) but sometimes it can be hard to find the positive.

Monday Mania - NFL Pre-Draft Open House

nfl_draft_article2THE draft is upon us.  This weekend will be the NFL draft and I thought we needed to have at least some mention of it here.  No, this isn’t going to be a crazy article filled with my “all-knowing” predictions like these once a year gophers.  Instead, I’m just going to have a little bit of an open forum here to share thoughts on what I think SHOULD happen and what will probably happen.

Monday Mania - NFL News, Notes - Eat Up!

Somehow, someway, we still managed to have a pretty interesting week in the world of the NFL without a single game played. The NFL pulls makes its fans bloodlustful for news and discussion of their favorite sport unlike any other. Well, maybe the futbolers of the “other world” have this type of compelling nature and, in fact, they really do but I’d certainly take American ball any day of the week.
