Video Clip: The IZ3D Gaming Monitor — Commonly Asked Questions

logo-iz3dDuring my recent trek into the massive crowds at Dragon*Con in Atlanta, I happened to stumble on a demo of the IZ3D monitor which hit retail in the past few months. The demo was impressive and I had the chance to talk to Aaron “Warface” Rapp with IZ3D while he did some gaming on it with Left4Dead and World of Warcraft

The Guild: Comedic Web Series for Recovering Guilders and Active Addicts

I have recently started playing World of Warcraft which can and will be another column but it turned my head to some videos I have ignored for far too long; The Guild! If I get into a game or anything else and really start to enjoy it I find myself seeking out as much as I can in related material. Review: Star Wars the Force Unleashed

Duh duh… du du du daaaa duhhhh du du du daaaa duhhhhh du du du daaaa. Ahem, sorry about that. It was just my excitement for all things Star Wars trying to build up this game at least a little bit. I don’t have 8+ hours a day to play games, though I’ll take the job if anyone is hiring, so there will be times that a game just isn’t worth it. There is not a plan to make this a habit and I will, rightfully, update the review if I finish the game and have a sudden change of heart but I am about 2/3 of the way done and can’t really take much more.

Just Buy It

I love downloadable content, think it’s a great idea. For just a few bucks, you can get additional levels and goodies for your games, extending their life and your enjoyment. Even better, you can snag some pretty cool, original games that often times are more fun than their more expensive disc-based counterparts. Or buy classic games you enjoyed (or missed) in your gaming youth and give them another go. What I don’t like is gambling, and that is far too often what buying DLC turns out to be.
